Q355GNH weathering steel is characterized by the addition of less Cu, P, Cr, Ni and other alloy elements in the steel, so that a dense amorphous spinel type oxide layer with a thickness of about 50-100μm is formed between the rust layer and the base metal, which can prevent oxygen and water from penetrating into the steel matrix, slow down the development of corrosion to steel materials, and improve the atmospheric corrosion resistance.
