On October 16, 2019, the Board of Directors of the World Steel Association (worldsteel) elected the following new officers for 2019/2020 at the worldsteel General Assembly in Monterrey. The new A588 Grade A marking officers are elected for a one-year period: Chairman - YU Yong, Chairman, HBIS Group Co., Ltd. Vice Chairman - Sajjan JINDAL, Chairman and Managing Director, JSW Steel Limited.

A516 Gr65 steel is a carbon steel plate for medium and low temperature pressure vessels, which implements the ASTM A516 standard. A516 Gr65 plate has the following characteristics: good impact resistance, small temperature deformation, good welding performance, good fatigue resistance, good anti-layered cracking performance, micro-alloying, high purity, low carbon equivalent, strong resistance to sulfur and hydrogen. Our A588 Grade A marking pressure vessel plate has good dimensional tolerance and surface quality.

Japan is a typical shipping first, and its raw materials are imported from Oceania, central and South America and other Asian countries. Most of the A588 Grade A marking steel produced is exported to China and other Asian countries, and a small amount is exported to America. Shipping is the main way of its A588 Grade A marking steel international transportation. According to the data, steel goods account for about 20% of the total sea freight in Japan. The domestic transportation of Japanese steel is mainly truck.

In recent years, after the completion of large-scale, high-speed and automation of steel rolling technology and equipment in the world, the rapid development of A588 Grade A marking high-precision rolling technology with the goal of improving product quality, expanding varieties, saving energy and reducing consumption, and increasing benefits. For example, in 2013, Anshan Iron and Steel's 4300 mm rolling mill, Shagang's 5000 mm rolling mill and 3500 mm furnace coil rolling mill introduced foreign technology to further upgrade the company's A588 Grade A marking technical equipment.
