ASTM A514 steel is mainly used in places where high tensile strength and high yield are required, such as engineering vehicle lifting gears, large excavators, offshore platforms, etc. Different grades of A514 steel plate have different thickness, chemical composition and properties. The mechanical properties of Q420D steel: yield strength ≥ 420 MPa, tensile strength 500-680 MPa. The mechanical properties of Q460D steel: yield strength ≥ 460 MPa, tensile strength 500-720 MPa.
