The European standard EN10028-2: 2003 material is used to manufacture high-temperature performance steel plates for container equipment. The NM500 steel is consists of max. 0.38% Carbon, 0.70 Silicon, 1.70 Manganese, 0.020 Phosphorus, 0.010 Sulfur, 1.20 Chrome, 1.00 Nickel, 0.65 Molybdenum, 0.050 Titanium, 0.0005-0.006 Boron, min. 0.010 Als, etc.. According to GBT24186, the max. thickness of Q235NH weathering steel, NM500 wear plate is 70mm.

In the second step of hot rolling process, different finished mills are used to roll billets or continuous casting billets into finished steel of proper shape and size.
