4140 steel is alloy structural steel, and its technical standard is ASTM A29/A29M. It belongs to ultra-high strength steel. EN 10025-5 weathering steel S355J0W, 4140 steel has high strength and toughness, good hardenability, no obvious temper brittleness, high fatigue limit and multiple impact resistance after tempering treatment, and good low temperature impact toughness. 4140 steel is suitable for manufacturing large and medium plastic mould with certain strength and toughness.

The cold bending method is mainly used to produce cold-formed section steel and welded pipe. The cold bending method is to bend the steel strip or steel plate into various cross-section shapes by the cold bending machine in the cold state. If the EN 10025-5 weathering steel S355J0W steel pipe is bent into a circular, square or other hollow shape and welded by a proper welding method, it is a welded pipe.
