The boiler steel is not only required to have good corrosion resistance at low temperature, but also required to have good oxidation resistance at high temperature for components working at high temperature. Especially for the components of superheater and reheater, when they A588 Grade A maximum thickness work at high temperature, they are required not easy to be oxidized and peeled. Generally, the development speed of oxidation depth at working temperature is required to be less than 0.1mm/year. The addition of chromium, nickel, aluminum and silicon can improve the oxidation resistance of steel.

The hot rolling method is to heat the A588 Grade A maximum thickness steel material to about 1000 ℃ ~ 1250 ℃ and use the rolling mill to roll it. The traditional hot rolling process is generally divided into the following two steps: the first step is to use the primary rolling mill or billet rolling mill to roll the ingot, billet or continuous casting billet into a certain shape and size of billet. This kind of A588 Grade A maximum thickness rolling process is usually called semi-finished product production, also called blank production.

We have built solid cooperation with Myanmar Navy since 2015, starting from a try order about 412 tons LR AH36 shipbuilding steel plates. Myanmar navy builds frigate every year and book shipbuilding steel materials from us regularly. This time, the Myanmar navy’s local representative visit us and put another order about 2025 tons LR grade A steel plates. According to clients requirements, we arranged A588 Grade A maximum thickness SGS inspection for the LR grade A steel plates before shipping and send them inspection report.
