On Jan. 31, 2019, BBN steel held the annual meeting with all employees, family members, and friends. It is a moment of joyand it is a moment to summarize the past and look forward.Looking back on 2018, BBN steel exported A588 Grade A maximum thickness more than 2 million tons of steel materials to all parts of the world and made outstanding contributions to infrastructure construction at home and abroad. In 2019, BBN steel will make persistent efforts and forge ahead.
Phosphorus is a very harmful element in A588 Grade A maximum thickness steel. With the increase of phosphorus content, the strength, flexion ratio and hardness of A588 Grade A maximum thickness steel increased, but the plasticity and toughness decreased significantly. In particular, the lower the temperature, the greater the impact on plasticity and toughness, increase the cold brittleness of steel.
Chemical composition of 65Mn steel: C 0.62-0.70, Si 0.17-0.37, Mn 0.90-1.20, Cr ≤ 0.25, Ni ≤ 0.30, Cu ≤ 0.25. 65Mn steel mechanical properties: tensile strength: ≥735 Mpa, yield strength: ≥430 Mpa, elongation after fracture: ≥9%, reduction of area: 30%, impact absorbed energy: no impact. A588 Grade A maximum thickness, 65Mn steel has high strength, high hardenability, less decarburization tendency, overheat sensitivity, easy to produce quenching cracks and temper brittleness. 65Mn steel is used for making various flat and round springs, leaf springs, spring rings, valve springs, steel wire cold coil springs, clutch springs of light trucks and cars.
