45Mn2 steel is a medium-carbon quenched and tempered steel with high strength, wear resistance and hardenability. The critical hardening diameter in oil is 10-25mm, and the critical hardening diameter in water is 22-45. After quenching and tempering, 45Mn2 alloy structural steel has good comprehensive mechanical properties and good machinability; but it has overheating sensitivity and temper brittleness tendency during heat treatment, easy to crack in water quenching, sensitive to white spots, low weldability and cold deformation plasticity and other shortcomings.

The test contents include chemical composition analysis, tensile test, impact test, etc. The test results are satisfied.
