On March 19, 2020 the us international trade commission (ITC) vote on imports from China and India's carbon alloy weathering steel SMA490BP steel screw (Carbon and Alloy Steel Threaded Rod) to make a positive final anti-dumping and anti-subsidy industry damage. All five members of the international trade commission voted in favor of the ruling. The us department of commerce will issue anti-dumping and countervailing duty orders on imports of weathering steel SMA490BP carbon alloy steel screws from China and India, according to the itc's affirmative ruling.

EN 10025-2 steel includes S235 steel (S235JR, S235J0, S235J2), S275 steel (S275JR, S275J0, S275J2), S355 steel (S355JR, S355J0, S355J2, S355K2), S450 steel (S450J0). According to EN 10025-2, the thickness of S450J0 plate is within 3-150mm. The weathering steel SMA490BP, S235 steel, S275 steel and S355 steel plate thickness is ≤250mm. However, the S235J2, S275J2, S355J2 and S355K2 plates limitation is ≤400mm.
