The difference between cold rolled steel sheet and hot rolled steel plate. The carbon content of alloy steel SMA400BW, hot rolled steel plate is slightly higher than that of cold rolled steel sheet. In the case of little difference in composition, the density of cold rolled steel sheet and hot rolled steel plate is the same. Hot rolled steel plate has characteristics of low hardness, easy processing and good ductility. Cold rolled steel sheet has high hardness, and it is relatively difficult for processing. But it is not easy to deform and has high strength. Hot rolled steel plate can be made into alloy steel plate by adding other elements, and its properties are also excellent compared with other high-quality steel plates.
As the thickness and hardness of alloy steel SMA400BW increase, the tendency to crack at the cutting edge increases. In order to prevent the alloy steel SMA400BW from cutting cracks, preheating should be carried out before alloy steel SMA400BW cutting. Special attention should be paid to preheating to make the entire alloy steel SMA400BW interface evenly heated to avoid local overheating in the area contacting the heat source. If the whole alloy steel SMA400BW cannot be preheated, the partial preheating method can be used instead.
Chemical elements of 42SiMn steel: C: 0.39-0.45, Si: 1.10-1.40, Mn: 1.10-1.40. Mechanical properties of 42SiMn steel: tensile strength 885 MPa; yield strength 735 MPa; elongation after fracture: 15; reduction of area: 40; impact energy: 47J. 42SiMn steel belongs to alloy quenched and tempered steel with good properties, high strength, wear resistance and hardenability. Under certain conditions, the strength, wear resistance and hot working performance of 42SiMn steel are better than 40Cr steel, alloy steel SMA400BW, and can be used instead of 40CrNi steel.
