The corten A chemical composition and application

Corten steel is divided into two categories: corten A and corten B. Corten steel is the representative steel of Cu-P series steel in the United States. Corten A steel belongs to low alloy high strength atmospheric corrosion-resistant structural steel, which is called weathering steel in China. The corten A chemical composition makes the steel have good atmospheric corrosion resistance. Corten A steel is widely used in container, power plant chimney, railway engineering and other outdoor projects. Corten A steel is mainly used for economizing gas, air preheater, heat exchanger and evaporator in high sulfur flue gas to resist condensation corrosion of sulfur flue gas.
