Q345 is a steel material. It is a low alloy steel (C < 0.2%), with good comprehensive properties, low temperature properties, cold stamping properties, SPA-H yield strength welding properties and machinability. Q345 steel is subdivided into Q345A, Q345B, Q345C, Q345D and Q345E. This is the grade distinction, which represents that the impact temperature is different! Q345A, no impact; Q345B, impact at 20 degrees normal temperature; Q345C, impact at 0 degrees; Q345D, impact at - 20 degrees; Q345E, impact at - 40 degrees. At different impact temperature, the impact value is different.

A36 is American Standard ASTM material, SS400 is Japanese Standard JIS g3101 steel material for general structure, Q235 is Chinese standard GB700 material. The limitation of the content of the Mn element differs depending on the thickness of the A36 steel plate, and the A36 steel plate of 20 mm or less does not contain Mn. The Q235 steel plate has requirements for the contents of C, Si, Mn, S, P and other elements. But SS400 steel plate only requires S and P to be less than 0.050, and no other element requirements.
