09CuPCrNi-A chemistry, Q345B low alloy steel has outstanding characteristics, such as:
First, Q345B low alloy steel has good toughness. It is easy to bend and stretch, not easy to break, and can be used for multiple processing. Second, 09CuPCrNi-A chemistry, Q345B low alloy steel is easy to weld and can be used for assembly. Third, Q345B low alloy steel has good strength, good compression resistance and long service life. Fourth, the weather resistance of Q345B low alloy steel is good, and the use is not affected whether it is winter or summer.

Weathering steel generally adopts the process route of fine material into the furnace-smelting (converter, electric furnace-microalloying treatment-argon blowing-LF refining-low superheat continuous casting (feeding rare earth wire)-controlled rolling and cooling. The scrap steel is added into the furnace together with the charge, and smelted according to the conventional process. After the 09CuPCrNi-A chemistry steel is tapped, deoxidizers and alloys are added. After the molten steel is treated with argon blowing, the molten steel is cast. By adding rare earth elements to the steel, the 09CuPCrNi-A chemistry weathering steel is purified and the content of inclusions is greatly reduced.

09CuPCrNi-A chemistry, St52-3 steel is a low alloy, high strength structural steel which can be readily welded to other weldable steel. St52-3 steel’s mechanical properties is yield strength more than 355 MPa, tensile strength 490-630Mpa. For St52-3 steel, the C element content is 0.24%, the Si element content is 0.55% max, the Mn element content is 1.60% max, the P element content is 0.045% max, the S element content is 0.045% max.
