Grades A588 Gr A yield strength, Q345 (16Mn) and Q390 steel have good comprehensive mechanical properties, good welding performance, cold and hot workability and corrosion resistance. C, D, E grade steel has good low temperature toughness. Mainly used for ships, boilers, pressure vessels, petroleum storage tanks, bridges, power station equipment, lifting and transportation machinery and other higher-load welding structural parts.

Tempering includes high temperature tempering, medium temperature tempering and low temperature tempering. Tempering means to reheat the A588 Gr A yield strength quenched steel to a certain temperature and then cool it in a certain way. Tempering can reduce or eliminate the internal stress produced by quenching, reduce the hardness and strength, and improve the ductility or toughness of steel. After A588 Gr A yield strength quenching, the workpiece should be tempered in time, and the required mechanical properties can be obtained through the combination of quenching and tempering.

In 2018, one of our India customers visit Zhengzhou office building and work shop to discuss carbon steel Q235B grind plate technical request. They have strict surface and thickness tolerance, and they also request UT and MT for testing for Q235B grind plate. As a result, they purchase 179 tons as trial order for first cooperation. After using the gind plate, the India customer has good comment on our A588 Gr A yield strength quality. Till now, we keep exporting around 100 tons per month as regularly.
