SPA-H and SPA-C sheet tempering stability

SPA-H and SPA-C sheet annealing is to heat the steel to 30 ~ 50℃ above the critical temperature, keep it in the heat treatment furnace for a period of time, and then cool it down to room temperature with the furnace. The purpose of SPA-H and SPA-C sheet annealing is to refine the grain of steel, eliminate internal stress and reduce hardness, improve cutting performance, increase toughness and plasticity, and facilitate welding and rolling processes. SPA-H and SPA-C sheet annealing can be complete annealing, incomplete annealing, stress relief annealing, isothermal annealing and spheroidizing annealing.

The ability to resist plastic deformation and fracture under the action of external load is called SPA-H and SPA-C sheet strength, and the local resistance of solid materials to external objects such as indentation and scribing is hardness. In the mechanical properties of weathering steel, strength and hardness are related indexes, while plasticity (elongation, reduction of area) and toughness (impact value) are related indexes.
